First we drive to town of Győr (City of rivers) which is Hungary's second richest town in historic buildings outside Budapest. Churches, palaces, museums, characteristic corner-balconies and narrow lanes, all reminders of a historic past, invite you to take a walk in the centre of the town.
After a 3-cours lunch we continue our trip to Pannonhalma (located some 20 km outside of Győr).
The Benedictine Pannonhalma Archabbey is one of the oldest historical monuments in Hungary founded in 996. This is the second largest territorial abbey in the world, after the one in Monte Cassino.
The tour ends in the city centre in Budapest.
