Let us enchant you in the “land of music.” Traveling through the Hof and Fuschl areas we will make a brief stop in St. Gilgen (the birthplace of Mozart´s mother) before continuing to the nearby village of St. Wolfgang. Here you will find an abundance of delights including a local church well known for its 15th century winged altar by Michael Pacher. The White Horse Inn, well-known as the setting for the famous operetta “Im Weissen Rössl,” is also in St. Wolfgang.
From May to October you will also have a chance to enjoy a boat cruise across Wolfgang Lake. Surrounded by mountains this is the idyllic setting for a cruise. Our cruise begins in St. Gilgen and travels to St. Wolfgang.
During the return journey enjoy picturesque scenes as we pass by Krottensee, the Castle of Hüttenstein, the shores of Mondsee (moon lake) and the town of Mondsee, home to a once famous monastery.
